  • Bike

You can find excellent deals on brand new or second-hand bikes online on Gumtree. With Gumtree, you can pay only on collection and in cash. So do not feel the need to advance any money to any seller even if they demand this.

If you are a keen cyclist and would like to meet other cyclists, Bike to Work Breakfasts is a great social get-together you may want to check out which are held on set days (usually Wednesdays) at Tindal’s Café. There is also a local shop that deals in second-hand bikes called Cycle Path.

For bike hire, consider Bike Pool which refurbishes old bikes and rents them to students and locals at an affordable price. They also run Fix It sessions to keep your bike in shape.
