By Bus
Cork is well-served by a modern bus system mainly run by Bus Ẽireann although there are also private operators like Aircoach that run routes such as to Dublin and Dublin Airport. As recommended on the Travel homepage, get yourself a TFI Leap Card for cheaper travel and a fare cap if you will be a regular user of bus services.
By Train
Cork’s railway hub is based at Kent station towards the east end of the city giving access to the national and county network. As stated on the Travel homepage, we recommend getting a TFI Leap Card for cheaper travel and a fare cap if you will be a regular user of train services. Use the Irish Rail journey planner to map your journey and routes.
